In celebration of National Arts Month, the Ortigas 4th Art Festival opens its doors to a free admission exhibit of different art forms and mediums starting Feb. 24 to Mar. 31 at the G/F East Wing, Estancia at Capitol Commons in Pasig City.

In a recent Facebook post, visitors are reminded to adhere to safety protocols and health guidelines such as social distancing, usage of face mask and shield, as well as a Pasig Pass upon entrance.

The festival is open on-site as well as off-site, offering different online activities for art junkies.

Agos studios, an “artist-initiated endeavor” born from the new normal, is holding a series of E-mentoring classes featuring nine (9) different artists with different art styles, and hailing from different parts of the country. A portion of their proceeds will go to the Art Relief Mobile Kitchen.

The ARMK is a group of artists and volunteers that “provided comfort food to survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013.” The group has since dedicated their time to providing food aid in the country in times of natural disasters. See more of them here

Born in Film is also holding photo exhibits and Darkroom Developing workshops. The photography group established in 2018, is non-profit with an advocacy to “reviving the love for traditional analogue photography through activities, workshops and online activities. Check them out!

Lastly, in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the art fest is hosting the First Ortigas Vertical Cinema Contest. The short film competition will revolve around the beauty of everyday life. The deadline for the submission of entries will be on March 11, 2021. More about the contest here.

Other exhibits feature works from Arnel Borja, FilArts, Richard Buxani, and La Maison d’David Art Gallerie among others.
